Usually the middle of April is a good season for Sakura view in a mountain area, but this year Sakura blossoms were MUCH earlier to start to bloom than usual.
We climbed up to Mount Shiro for Sakura view on the first Sunday of April, but Sakura season almost finished even in the mountain area… It was a little bit disappointing…
BUT! Instead of Sakura blossoms, a lot of spring flowers like peach blossoms started to bloom.
Luckily we had a REALLY clear sky on that day! We enjoyed the mountain view and spring flowers!!
今回は花見登山を計画したのですが、残念ながら、ほぼほぼ散っていて葉桜になっていました。。。
例年であれば、4月上旬から中旬は、山間部の桜が見頃を迎えるのですが、今年はホントに早咲きの年でしたね。
桜の代わりに、桃の花がきれいに咲いていましたよ。
今回は、アメリカ、カナダ、ドイツ、中国、ベトナムの他に、ギリシャ、ベラルーシ、イランなど珍しい国からの参加者もいて、非常に多国籍なグループになりました！
かなり長い距離でしたが、山頂からの眺めは素晴らしかったですね。皆さん、お疲れさまでした～！
